It’s so easy to get caught up in spending large wads of cash keeping up with the latest trends.
I do believe that you need to invest in quality garments especially staple items for your wardrobe. But sometimes cheep and cheerful can be the way to go.
This entire look cost $70. It’s not a styled look, just a couple of quick photos taken at home during a BBQ with friends.
Simple and stylish {well I think so anyways}
Kimonos are great for throwing on with simple staples for an effortless way to update your look.
This long line number features a gorgeous oriental, floral print and a fringe hemline. I’m wearing it over a black tank and high waisted shorts for a pop of print and a touch of style.
Being a plus size gal we can often overlook straight size stores. When it comes to kimonos they are generally one size fits all, just like the one I have on. It’s from ICE which isn’t a store I normally shop in.
But every now and again you have a win. So if you have the time, why not have a quick browse?
{here’s another time when I had an outfit win from ICE}
These Peter Morrissey shorts are a new addition to my wardrobe. I can foresee myself dressing up the look with a cute fitted blazer for business meetings or matching with a peplum top for a night out on the town.
Size wise I recommend buying a size up as the fits are quite tight. Even with the elastic waist these are a little tight on my tummy area. But hey we all come in different shapes and sizes right? I decided to tuck my tank top in so the shorts featured as a high waisted style.
