Puma launched an exclusive plus size range with ASOS Curve back in mid 2017.
I finally got around to trying it out whilst I was in the UK at Christmas.
It’s nice to finally see some colour and edgy styles when it comes to activewear. Always felt envious seeing babes wearing cool activewear from Lorna Jane and Addidas because theres no way my butt or boobs fits into those brands. Especially when it comes to tops, I feel like I have a good selection of cool leggings but can never find tops that fit.
Totally believe that when you feel you look good it gives you a little pep up and lets be honest – wearing cute outfits while working up a sweat helps when you feel like Hagrid. (or maybe thats just me but as soon as I get hot my hair has its own party and I feel ugly)
Puma are clearly making some serious moves to be more inclusive with their clothing as the range starts at a UK size 6 and goes up to a UK size 24. The larger sizes are fantastic, but what’s more important is the fact that it isn’t a separate range just for plus size women. Now women of any size can shop for the same looks to feel comfortable and look great while they exercise. YAS
You have to be quick to buy as many of the large items sell out right away. These items I’m showing you seem to have been restocked a few times so I thought I would share them with you.
Mesh Panel Legging In Black which are $80 AUD and the matching top is the Active Long Sleeve Mesh Top In Black and is $60 AUD. Both reasonable prices for good quality activwear
Both were very comfy. I had concerns that the top would be too tight on my bust but the fit was good and material was stretchy.
The leggings are my fave. They were supportive and didn’t dig in at the waist line. Love the mesh panels too. Was reluctant to show a pic of my ass but then I figured that what my butt looks like in leggings. And people see it when I’m working out the only difference is that now its on the internet FOREVERRRRR. Squeal.
Pumas activewear is made form moisture-managing dryCELL fabric. Fancy tech stuff but basically the garments are designed to keep you dry and comfortable.
I ordered this Active Mesh Sweatshirt and going to be very honest here and say that it is itchy AF. It’s okay to wear over a long sleeve top but the material is horrible. I was really hoping it was amazing because I love pink and always on the look out for something like this. Within moments of taking it out of the package I knew there was no way I could wear it.
Popped it on over my other outfit just so you could see the fit.
And heres how it looks on me. I actually look loads of photos wearing this but they’ve been deleted accidentally.
When I received my ASOS order I filmed an unboxing Youtube video with my Great Grandma Hilda. She absolutely loved this top and was gutted I sent it back because she wanted to borrow it…haha. I’ll upload the video soon
Had my eyes on this colourful set too which is became available after I’d ordered. Here’s the link if you want to see it online
And as always guys none of my photos are edited, straight off the iPhone and uploaded to my blog. Keepin it real
