Blue is this weeks Aussie Curves fashion theme. I’m currently in Bali volunteering at an orphanage. Once I’m home and have had time to take everything in I will put together a post for you all to read. It’s something I’m doing on my own and for me only. I didn’t even tell anyone I was going until I had already arrived. Sometimes you just need to take a leap and do what you gotta do.
So far I can only describe my trip in a couple of short words, those being overwhelming, eye opening, frustrating, challenging, inspiring and rewarding. A whole mixed bag of emotions on a daily basis. Kudos to all you parents out there, getting kids to eat is tough! {and encouraging just under 50 young kids to eat with a language barrier is super tough}.
On Sunday I took the opportunity to visit Ubud to catch up with a friend who also was travelling. We scooted around, visited temples, practised yoga, ate lots of yummy fresh food and checked out the local markets.
Bali is notorious for its markets, the main tourist areas are lined with stalls all selling the same things. I happened to pick this cotton dress up {which is blue} so decided I’d take some photos for Aussie Curves Blue theme.
Bear in mind, its was very hot and sweaty so its a no makeup crazy hair kinda styling….so no styling. Just me as me
It’s a simple dress featuring a white leaf print and tie at the waist. In hot humid weather loose comfy clothing is a must.
My friend was staying a little out of town in an area heavily populated by dogs. Not so friendly dogs that run along side your scooter barking. It can rumble the nerves a little.
Especially when its painted with hair dye. WHAAATTTTT??? I had to second glance to see what type of animal was chasing me {and yes I did get off the scooter for a closer look and to take a photo}.

My last two photos featured were created a new app {which I LOVE} created by Chantelle, a lifestyle blogger of www.fatmumslim.com.au Click here for more info
