With Spring only 11 days away here in Aus, I thought I would share some styles I am loving from Birdsnest. For me the transition from Winter to warmer weather must include colour and florals.

Birdsnest Try On Video Haul

I love taking outfit photos and showing you gals how I style a product.

But really, my true love is keeping it real and showing you on video. There’s times {man many times} I film and then never end up editing it to be uploaded. Putting yourself out there in photos where you can pick the most flattering photo is one thing but video is a whole new level. It’s putting yourself out there in such a huge way and opening yourself to every level of criticism.

So basically my own fear has been holding me back and I have decided let it and upload more videos. Because I do love making them. Maybe my editing isn’t the best, but I’m going to keep giving it a go.

My goal is to upload my videos more frequently, especially my clothing hauls as you all love those vids.

Hopefully by putting it out there you can all keep me accountable and encourage me to upload my vlogs outside of try on hauls.

What I Wore ~ Recap

I have a new fave floaty dress. Trust me you are going to want to get one because it’s THAT flattering and pretty. Perfect for warm weather as the material is lightweight.

This photo was taken in Airlie Beach (my old home town) where I was catching up with friends, enjoying the seaside air and having some downtime. It’s always my go to place when I need to reconnect with my creative juices.

Comfiest and laziest outfit ever, that can be dressed up or down.

This one is my fave because it’s a soft jersey knit fabric 50% cotton + 50% viscose so it has stretch plus it covers my tummy nicely without having the ‘moo moo’ effect. It’s a dark navy so perfect to wear as a dining dress in case you are like me and drop food on the boob veranda 🤦🏼‍♀️

My Nan totally took this pic for me. (Well she wanted to click the button whilst my camera was on the tripod) Now every time she calls she offers her photography services in exchange for a small fee or a hug 😂

Firstly this dress has pockets 😍 and has an elastic waist but has enough drape to not be clingy on the tum. I’m going to get mine taken up an inch or two on the bottom as it’s super long which is great if you are tall.

My new fave wrap dress

Another amazing wrap dress has snuck its way into my wardrobe. You can never have too many dresses right?

The Mocha Stripe Belle Printed Wrap Dress from Belle Bird is a dress that you simply cannot do without. I’ve worn it to a wedding, out for drinks, to a picnic and at least once a fornight to work.

Available from sizes 12-22, this dress totally fits into the ‘desk to drinks’ category for us gals who like to head out straight after work to socialize.

There’s enough going on with the pattern of this dress so I’ve kept the styling minimal
(as always – laziest fashion blogger ever ha!)

I love for the dress to be the stand out feature, keeping it chic with black heels and a cute clutch does the trick. For the photos I forgot to hold my clutch, another fashion blogger fail. So just imagine I matched this outfit with a black bag.

For my fellow big boobed curvy babes, the V neck bodice has a looser fit with a cute tie at the waist so its quite flattering.

This dress is simply gorgeous. Every time I wear this people compliment me on how great I look. The fabric is soft, stretchy and it fits and drapes in all the right places.

Lets talk about the fit of this dress. Often online shopping sucks and half the time, garments turn up and they are too big, too small or just don’t look like the photo.
