Living in a hot climate I generally cringe a little when designers bring out pants for their Spring/Summer collection.
I’ve owned these ‘Like Clockwork’ Print Slouch Pants for 6 weeks now and I LOVE them. Even with the temperature climbing every day I find myself waking up and wanting to wear these pants. {and I’m totally not a pants kinda gal when its warm}.
Here’s a couple of reasons why I love these pants.
Firstly, the fit is fabulous. Sometimes us curvy gals with a tummy buldge can find loose pants a little uncomfortable. {and before you ask where my tummy bulge is, its there I promise}.
The elastic waistband sits firmly over my hips with enough thickness to contain the wobble. Oh and pockets. That sit flat on your hips. Win win.
Secondly, they are super soft, lightweight and comfortable to wear
The pants are made from a luxe woven viscose. Lar di dah. Do you understand what that means? Yup…I had no idea either.
Upon further investigation I found out that Viscose is a strong and durable fibre which is abrasion resistant yet soft to handle and has good drape properties. It is extremely adsorbent and breathable which combine to make high end, good quality garments.
It a nutshell = good quality perfect pants for Spring/Summer. Well done 17 Sundays!
Thirdly, these pants are versatile.
With a quick footwear and top change you can transform your look from resort glam to casual chic in seconds.
In the photos above I’m wearing
SWAK Black Singlet {thanks Te Kiero Boutique}
Christine Kardashian White Blazer
Colette Hayman Necklace
Vintage Bag & Sunglasses
Nude Footwear wedges
Now just to prove that I’m not always glammed up, heres some non fashion related photos. Wearing thongs in both photos, so glam.
I recently wore the slouch pants on a seven hour road trip and crabbing with my girlfriends.
I could probably add quite a few more reasons as to why I like the slouch pants so much. But hey…they are pants and I’ve ranted enough.
I’m so happy that 17 Sundays is now stocked at selected Myer stores across Australia. So if you feel a little nervous about ordering online, pop into your local Myer store and check them out.
And remember, you get what you pay for. 17 Sundays is Aussie based plus size brand and the ‘like clockwork print’ was hand drawn, scanned and digitally fitted to the pants strategically so they are visually aesthetic. And by aesthetic I mean slimming. {no visual wobbly bits}
