Peter Alexander sleepwear is known for being fun, fashionable and amazingly comfortable. Growing up in Melbourne suburbs I was totally comfortable going to the supermarket in my PJ’s. (much to the horror of my family even though their Peter Alexander collection was just as extensive as mine they didn’t wear them out publically)
By my 20’s, I got a little rounder and I can only just squeeze into their largest size PJs.
So when the Peter Alexander team reached out to me to tell me about the new plus size range I was super excited. We teamed up so I can pass this awesome info to you.
As of today the company announced that they making a big marketing shift and will offer larger plus sizes up to a size 26 for some of its women’s clothes, available online and in some stores.
The range which features PJ sets, separates, nighties and gowns comes in three sizes. Size wise they are true plus sizes. FINALLY! Someone that has gotten it right! I’m wearing a 1X in my photos
1+ (16-18) 2+ (20-22) 3+ 24-26
Here’s some of the pieces I like, to see the full range visit Peter Alexander
For all the longterm PA lovers I know this range is quite basic compared to their full on out there themed designs that they normally have, but its a great start. I love the floral prints and colours. I can’t wait to see what the team will be bringing out next.
Personally, I’m a nude sleeper (unless staying over at peoples houses of course) but I can honestly say that I wear PJ’s more at home than I do to bed. The second I get home I pop them straight on for instant comfort. The team at PA kindly gifted me two nighties.
It’s soft, feminine and comfortable. Especially in the bust region. I’m wearing a 1X which is a size 16-18 and I’m a solid size 18 with a G cup bust. Initially it was a little tight but after wearing it for 10 minutes or so it loosened up. I can comfortably wear the nightie without feeling like by boobs are wobbling around.

If you are familiar with the brand you’d know Peter Alexander is a massive animal lover. Meeee toooooo! He’s an avid supporter of the RSPCA and has collaborated with the charity. What a superstar.
So whilst in the first outfit I shooed him away as much as possible, in the second outfit I figured I should just take some natural photos of what I’d be up to wearing PJ’s. Snuggling on the couch wearing a flannelette nightie with the dog and a cup of tea.
It’s no wonder they have been around for 25years. Peter Alexander has grown with leaps and bounds expanding to offering daywear and giftwear at their boutiques. (there are close to 100 of them in Aus and NZ)
As a plus size woman shopping, its nice to be able to walk into a store knowing that there’s items that will 100% fit you. And to know that the garments are such good quality and made to last. So well done Peter Alexander!
Also. I still go to the shops in my PJs.
