I love a good skirt.
As a Society+ ambassador I get to road test a new item each month and this time around its the Anne Lace Skirt. Check out the lace detail , its divine!
The skirt has been out for a while now, I’ve been super busy settling into my new apartment in Brisvegas (yay) and starting a new job contract. Also, I’ve been suffering poly cystic ovaries quite badly for a while and have gained ALOT of weight over a time frame of a month. My hormones are all over the place. Feeling much rounder in my mid section and face.
On top of that I’ve lost a lot of my hair due to trialling a medical treatment to help me with an auto immune disease. Which has been a bit of a kick to my confidence so it can be hard to put yourself out there with taking outfit photos. But life goes on and sometimes you just have to ride it out and keep chugging along.
Traditionally when you think of lace I always think of tightness and getting restricted. Pleased to let you guys know that the team at Society have thought of everything and designed the skirt to have both stretch lining and a stretch waist with the lace overlay having some move to room.
I styled my with a classic red cold shoulder blouse, a matching red lip, simple black knot necklace and kick ass boots.
I like to keep it simple when styling an outfit. The skirt alone has so much detail and texture that it stands out.
Totally worth the $70 for a staple wardrobe item that can be worn in so many ways. Plus there’s always fabulous sales so make sure you sign up to the newsletter
